This little rocking chair was made for my daughter's first birthday, and is a miniature version of the Morgan Rocker. I was still in university, we had no money, but I wanted something special for my little girl. I did not have my own workshop at this time, so I travelled home to work in my father's shop and spent a long weekend cutting the parts, assembling, hand carving, and sanding. It was a hit!! I think it spent more time upside down being used as a slide than being used to sit in. Despite the years of abuse, it is still a valued treasure and sits in the corner of her room, awaiting the time when she can pass it on to her first daughter.
